If he did that they wouldn't be the swords of mystery, the would just be the swords.

I find the first few pages in this forum very hard to read, what with all the numbers and symbols. Is there a way it could be cleaned up ?

I'm not sure if this is a "comments on questions to Thunt", but...

Can you make a new thread and maybe explain a little better?

The old pages from before the changeover in forum software. You see it in the first few pages of this thread, all the tags got wonkified because apparently something didn't like close brackets or something.

Oh, yeah. Now I know what you mean.

A few have been edited. It's not a closing tag issue -- some identifier number got inserted.

Hi Werefox, i think a lot of the question about what material Thunt uses have already been answered somewhere in the countless pages of the old answers, questions and comments on questions pages... i've been almost sure that there was a paragraph in the FAQ about this stuff (which kind of pencil e.g.) but i couldn't find it when looking today...)

What i can tell is that in the first Answers Posting the Kender stated that he draws and inks on paper and then the rest (coloring and the words) is done in Photoshop so that would be your software... Maybe someone with a better memory can also tell the version he uses... or where exactly to find his paper and pencil brands and trademarks

As to chief... i'm not sure but in the first few episodes he had a rather strict "no women in war camp" policy so maybe that was meant?

I was in the JTV chat yesterday, and heard an answer by Thunt that I don't remember hearing before. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Someone asked him if "the DM knew about the goblins and that they had taken levels, etc."

Thunt answered a firm "yes, of course. He is the DM. He has to know."
But from his answer, it was left .... a little vague as to whether or not that DM was actually "Herbert"

This was news (to me, anyway).
Thunt gave all the reasons why the DM must know - including examples that we have been bandying about as funny scenarios... Minmax and Forgath getting to Brassmoon and the DM says "Oh it's just a regular city... wait a tick... what's all this battle and stuff going on???? Let me me check my notes... I don't remember putting that in there!..."

and so forth.

Anyway. An interesting bit of info, I thought.

Carry on.
