I know....for those of you who have read Berics history you may find that it strikingly resembles that of Jon Snow, one of George R.R. Martins main characters from A Song of Fire and Ice. In My defense I never dreamed I would be playing this character in a play by post game on the web. He was started a few years ago in a small group of friends. None of them had read the Martin books, and the characters personaliity is nothing like that of Jon Snow, only the history. Also a lot of my rpg characters have been bastards in the past, as this gives the GM lots of room to tweak things and who knows who dad or mom might really turn out to be.....besides who hasn't borrowed from a good book?
If you Havn't read any of Martin's A Song of fire and Ice You are missing out on the best fantasy books ever written. Book one is called A Game of Thrones. Black Beric

The only thing I have seen is Martins post on the official site that says... the next post will be the one anouning the book is finished, so quit asking about it...been there for over a year I think

I agree..If the books are still character driven and not bogged down with drivel no one cares about I say, the more books the better I just hate waiting!
