Albert"Oh uh..we're here to hang out" Melissa"Oh no you aren't, you heard we're interviewing Felicia Day today, didn't you?" Panel 1B Mike and Albert have zipped past Melissa who is angry.   Mike"Oh she is, guess we'll go say hi, don't want to be rude" Albert"Thanks Mel!" Panel 2A Melissa is coming back into the room from the left, Albert and Mike are facing the right, their faces slack, both with a big grin on their faces. Melissa"Ok guys, leave Felicia alone" Melissa"Guys?" Panel 2B Melissa is sitting back at the table with Felica again. Melissa"Uh lets get back to the interview, so uh, does that happen often to geek guys?" Felicia"More often than you'd think..."  

Dndorks Interviews Felicia Day, Part 1 Panel 1A DM and Melissa sit on one side of a desk, like a news report, with Felicia to the left. DM has a huge smile on his face, Felicia is holding her character sheet in front of her. DM has a list of questions in front of him. Melissa"First, I wanted to say how happy you're here Felicia Day!" Felicia"I'm happy to be here, I brought my wizard, you said you'd want to talk to me about D&D?" Melissa"Fantastic!" Panel 1B Same panel, but felicia is starting to look at DM oddly. Melissa"So DM, whats the first question we have for Felicia?" DM"..." Panel 2A Felicia is waving her hand in front of DM's face. Melissa is looking at the questions in front of DM. Felicia"Is he ok?" Melissa"Uh...yeah, how about I Just ask the questions. Question 1, how often do you play 4e D&D?" Felicia"Well I have a busy schedule, but usually..." Panel ...

So Ethan is a warlock, not sure if everyone figured that out yet.  The comic is late today, but I think it came out well! Panel 1A Ethan slashes in the air sending a bolt at Avalanche who roars in pain Ethan"Take that!" Avalanche"I'll kill you little one" Ethan"Try it!" Panel 1B Ethan's arms are up in pain as Avalanche slashes at him. I'm kinda imaging Avalanche on the left of the panel, his left claw in a combat pose with a curved line following the motion with Ethan having claw shaped tears in his clothing. Ethan"Ooph, you'll have to try harder than that!" Panel 2A Ethan gets clawed by the other claw. This just the other claw with another rent hole in Ethan's clothing Ethan"ouch, ok, that was pretty good, forgot about the other claw" Panel 2B All you see of Ethan is his arms underneath Avalanche, Avalanche's mouth is pulling up some of Ethan's clothing Ethan"Arrgh! Ok ok, you can try a little less ha ...

"Battle!" Panel 1A Mareg charges in towards the dragon, who has one claw up ready to defend himself Mareg"Blast him Lia!" Panel 1B The dragon kicks Mareg into a wall. Mareg"Ooph!" Panel 2A Lia"I'll get him, fajrego sfero!" a flaming sphere appears near the white dragon White dragon (Avalanche): Foolish girl" Panel 2B Avalanche breaches a cone that freezes the flaming sphere solid and makes Lia all frosty. (Can we overlay the frost art on top of the existing panel to minimize redrawing and/or cologin?) Panel 3A Arthur sits next to DM, Arthur"Am I there yet?" DM"Aw Come on, whats the odds you'd arrive in time?" Arthur"What time is it?" DM"6 oclock" Panel 3B Arthur"1 in 1200, based on you saying I'd arrive today, I only have 2 hours left before I'd rest, 10 rounds in a minute" DM"You're sick, roll it!"

Panel 1A Mike, DM, and Ethan sit at the gaming table, DM is slipping papers back to Ethan. Mike"I want a perception check to see if Mareg knows Ethan is lying about the hoard" Ethan"What do you mean, I'm not lying" Panel 1B Ethan is scowling. Mike is rolling Mike"I guess Mareg is frightened by the dragon and runs away, leaving Ethan to die." Ethan"Fine..make your roll" Mike"Natural 20, modified 22" Ethan"8, modified 12" Mike interrupting his bubble"HA!" Panel 2A Mareg holds Lia back. Mareg"Hold on a moment Lia, I think Ethan's up to his old tricks, maybe we should let him stew in his own mess, or freeze in it, whatever" Ethan from offscreen"Help me fight this thing! Aieee, wow thats cold!" Panel 2B Lia"No matter what, hes your brother!" Mareg"step brother" Lia"Hes still your brother, lets go help him, we'll get the truth out of him later" ...

Panel 1A Mareg and Lia are looking at each other. Mareg"Have we waited long enough?" Lia starts to say"t", but is interrupted by a roar coming from off screen. Panel 1B Mareg and Lia are running to the right as kobolds and chickens run to the left Mareg"Kill the kobolds!" Lia"Wait, they're running from something" Ba bawk! Panel 2A-2B Mareg and Lia are on the left, the white dragon is in the middle, Ethan is on the right with a vase strapped to his back and has pulled out a rod or a pactblade, you're choice. I'm good with having Ethan start with a pactblade personally, to complete the rogue appearance. Mareg"All right, a dragon, that means a hoard! Loot!" Ethan"Sorry, the hoard was empty, help me kill this thing!" Mareg"empty? No loot!? " big bubble" DRAGON, PREPARE TO DIE!!!!!"

Panel 1A Ethan is poking his head into a room where a fat white dragon is being fed by a line of kobolds each carrying chickens over them. Ethan thought bubble"Hmm, looks like I'll have to go back and warn the others, wait, whats that?" Panel 1B This is a continuation of panel 1a, so on the right side we see the rest of the dragon plus a big pile of coins and a giant vase. Ethan thought bubble pointing to Ethan in panel 1A. "This it, I was born for this moment. I'm going to sneak like I've never snuck before and get that hoard for myself!!!" Panel 2A Lia and Mareg are facing each other. Lia"Hes been gone a while, I hope hes ok" Mareg"Yay, you're talking to me again!" Lia"I'm not talking to you, Lia is talking to you, and any way, I'm going to contact him" Panel 2B Ethan has multiple sacks of coins now and the giant vase strapped to his back. A bat is flying around from Lia casting Animal Messenger thought bu ...

I'll refine it when I put it up though. :( Panel 1A Jack is fighting off an owlbear with a sword in one hand and a whip lying limp in the other (he's not using the whip). An elvish lass is cowering underneath the owlbear.  Jack"Take that foul beast!" From off panel"Jack, can I see you for a moment?" Jack"Sure" Panel 1B Leo, an oily italian manager guy is pointing at a board with a ratings chart where the ratings start high and end really low, Jack the Lasher is looking at the board. In one hand, Leo is carrying a stack of papers Manager Leo"Your ratings have really dropped since you switched to the sword" Jack"I still carry the whip, it just doesn't do anything in 4e" Leo"Thats not good enough Jack" From off panel"Aaaah! Help!" Jack&a ...

So I changed a lot of the dialogue from the script to the comic, hopefully for the better. :) "Don't let the thief go too far ahead..." Panel 1A Ethan is crouching in a dark cave, in one hand he's eating an apple, in the other he's holding plyers, Lia stands behind him. Ethan whispers"Yup, here is a floor trap, I'll disable it, but let me go ahead to make sure there aren't more traps." Crunch Lia whispers"Ok, but don't go too far, we wouldn't want something to happen to you!" Panel 1B Subtext"A few minutes later, Ethan's stealth roll of 23 bypasses the kobold's attention" Ethan is hidden near a chest reaching in, a couple kobolds are standing guard, oblivious. Ethan thought bubble"Kobolds are stupid, regardless of edition" Panel 2A Ethan faces Lia and Mareg, at Ethan's belt is a lumpy bag. Ethan"The traps are all clear, there is a room with 2 kobolds and a chest ahead" Mareg"Woot! Loot!" Panel 2C ...
